Prayer
O Lord God give us an intimacy with Jesus Christ the model shepherd.
Give us the free will to continue his work of gathering all differences into one in providing warmth and nourishment for others. Help us to give of ourselves in order to provide shelter, warmth and nourishment for others especially those in need.
Help us to become shepherds to one another, to attend to each other, to encourage one another. Help us to be ready to both lead and to be there for one another through kind and generous gestures of life. Amen.
