Mark 1

Altars of Prayers Raised By God’s people
Revelations 8: 3 -4
3 Another angel, who had a golden censer, came and stood at the altar. He was given much incense to offer, with the prayers of all God’s people, on the golden altar in front of the throne. 4 The smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God’s people, went up before God from the angel’s hand.
Pray: Psalm 141:2
May my prayer be set before you like incense;
may the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice.
Abram built Altars of
Genesis 12
Altar of Praise

Alter of Prayer

Genesis 13
Altar of Peace
17 Go, walk through the length and breadth of the land, for I am giving it to you.”
18 So Abram went to live near the great trees of Mamre at Hebron, where he pitched his tents. There he built an altar to the Lord.
Pray: I declare, I receive, and I claim this your verdict and word to me right now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Genesis 22
Altar of Provision

14 So Abraham called that place The Lord Will Provide. And to this day it is said, “On the mountain of the Lord it will be provided.”
Pray: Father just as with Abraham let it be done to me according to your word. You are Jehovah Jireh a God of abundance. Thank you for abundant blessings on my life and family. Amen
David
What conditions did God give David? He said, ‘David, go build me an altar, and I will not just stop the destroying angel, but will remove the plague completely.’ (2 Samuel 24:18-25).
Raise up a formidable altar to God to defeat the ones raised up by the enemy to the devil.
Read:
2 Kings 3:26 -27
26 When the king of Moab saw that the battle had gone against him, he took with him seven hundred swordsmen to break through to the king of Edom, but they failed. 27 Then he took his firstborn son, who was to succeed him as king, and offered him as a sacrifice on the city wall. The fury against Israel was great; they withdrew and returned to their own land.
The Moabites worshipped Molech amongst other gods. Molech required the first born son or daughters from its worshippers. The king of Moab was simply enacting and fulfilling this requirement. As a result of this sacrifice, which he did on the wall i.e., in full view of, and facing the oncoming armies of Israel, great indignation was released against Israel so much so they were forced to withdraw. Israel was smitten. He raised an altar that transmitted Judgment against his enemies.
Israel could not withstand the satanic attack released from this diabolical altar. Why? Because one man offered a higher sacrifice to the devil than what an entire nation were prepared to do. Are you aware that the spirit realm is open to the highest bidder? Any altar that transmits dominance takes control.
What are we doing about it? Our challenge is to raise up a formidable altar unto the Lord that will transmit God’s glory and fear over our locality. We are to raise up a formidable altar that will enable the Church of Jesus Christ take control and be in the lead politically, financially and otherwise. You O Lord God is our banner.
Pray:
Philippians 2: I come in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. I declare that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth. I command you all to bow now before the name of Jesus Christ. Bow in the name of Jesus. Bow, bow, bow in Jesus name, in Jesus name, in Jesus name. You are defeated right now in the holy, mighty and awesome name of Jesus. Amen. Amen. Amen.
